wHat WE DO #2
custom built
When you buy a car, you can choose the make, model and options you want. When you want to look sharp, you can go to the tailor for a bespoke suit made just for you. Why shouldn't it be the same for a bicycle?
Just imagine, the perfect bike customised just for you. You choose the accessories and colours you want - and you can even have it decorated by local artists!
Just name your budget and we'll work with you to get it done.
It's all perfectly possible thanks to our local, customer-focused production chain. It's not a luxury, it's what we do. We customise a bike just for you. We create a bespoke piece of craftsmanship, a unique work of art. That's how we roll.
Together, we create your steel dream machine. Starting with a bottom bracket of up to 73mm, we can design any trekking, racing, MTB (hardtail), BMX, city shopper or tandem.
The standard tubing we use is Columbus Zona (25CrMo4), delivering an ideal compromise between, weight, strength and durability. As steel frame lovers know, steel's big advantage is that it feels smoother than aluminium. That might go a bit against the zeitgeist, but steel allows you to create slimmer frames that are just as strong or stronger than aluminium.
We work with one of Belgium's most experienced framemakers to ensure you get the superior quality we demand.
A steel frame with the right geometry combined with parts we choose together - all within your budget and for your intended purpose.
Does that sound like music to your ears? Then we would be happy to meet with you to discuss how your dream bike can become reality.

First, we meet to define what kind of bike you need.
A trekking bike that will provide months or years of that feeling of limitless freedom? A bicycle you can ride to finally make that dream trip to Paris or Milan a reality? A fast and elegant racer to get you back and forth from home to work - with or without a rack? A tough but comfortable Di2 all-terrain gravel road bike you can use to improve your fitness while enjoying the great outdoors?

But we can also make you a hardtail mountain bike or BMX.
We'll decide which components to fit, in line with your budget and intended usage.
Hub gear or derailleur? How many speeds? What gear ratios do you need for that trip from Leuven to Milan or to commute 25 km to Brussels every day? We cover everything.
And just to be clear: you can easily take long trips without using top-flight components. We are almost always able to find a way to stay within a reasonable budget.
Which attachment points do you want for your lowrider? Additional bottle holders? Other accessories? Anything is possible as long as it fits on the frame and meets safety standards.
Then we take your measurements. This is critical for determining the right geometry for your bike. The data are processed in Bikecad, which outputs a technical drawing of your frame. We then go through it together and make any necessary tweaks.
The design is sent to the frame welder who checks it again and then puts the job in his schedule. Since this is a custom job and capacity is limited, delivery can take a few weeks.
Lastly, you can choose from a range of 100 different colours and combinations thereof applied on top of a basecoat and protected with a hard coating cured for 50 minutes at 180 °C. The result is a highly scratch-resistant and durable painted bicycle.
And of course you can have one of our partner artists decorate your bike, rendering it absolutely unique.
We'll be happy to advise you on helmets, panniers, raingear and other accessories, as well as give you advice on such practical issues as how to transport your bike by plane. That way you can hit the road quickly with a bike that suits you perfectly: literally and figuratively.

Since we like both you and your bike, we want to make sure you know how to take care of your bike, because, let's be honest, a well-maintained bicycle is worth a lot. That's why we'll be happy to give you some free training so you can learn more about your bike and how to perform minor repairs on the road, such as replacing a tyre, adjusting the derailleur and replacing a brake cable.
